There are a number of State Government declared Priority Development Areas within the Maranoa Region. The Department of State Development, Tourism and Innovation maintains a register independent of Maranoa Regional Council's register of current and decided Development Applications within the Priority Development Areas. or Development Applications within these areas, visit Economic Development Queensland for more details.
